Harris Consulting provides its full range of services to clients in the telecommunications industry.

Since 1997 we have delivered contract and commercial management services to major clients involved in the installation of second and third generation networks. Since 2002 we have worked with a major site-share provider of telecommunication and broadcast infrastructure. Our scope of services covers project and site management as well as the commercial support and agreement of final accounts. More recently we are performing similar functions in respect of digital switch out works.

Recent Work

Provided contractual advice to a global telecommunications contractor and appraised claims that arose on a major new European network with a value exceeding £150m.
Harris Consulting staff travelled to Europe weekly and undertook post contract surveying duties under subcontract framework agreements. We:
- Implemented strategies for the successful management of contracts with clients and sub-contractors.
- Undertook measurement, valuation and final account negotiation with sub-contractors.
- Evaluated and advised client of contractual claims that could be successfully advanced to their client.
- Liaised with and advised locally based company lawyer on contractual issues surrounding disputes arising from the sub-contractor re-measures.
We provide monthly post-contract quantity surveying and project management services for a national telecommunications company, involving managing site upgrade works and new installations required by UK telecom providers.
Managed and provided contractual advice to a global telecommunications contractor and appraised claims arising on a major new UK network with a value exceeding £300m. We managed and advised on three separate multi-million pound disputes, each of which was successfully settled without recourse to formal dispute procedures.
