Examples of recent experience:

• Appointed by a global telecommunications contractor to manage and provide contractual advice and appraisal of claims arising on a major new network in Europe (overall value exceeds £150 million). Harris Consulting travelled extensively to Europe on a weekly basis to carry out post contract surveying duties under subcontract framework agreements including:
  • Implementation of contract strategies for the successful management of contracts with clients and sub-contractors
  • Measurement, valuation and final account negotiation with sub-contractors
  • Evaluating and advising client of contractual claims that may be successfully advanced to their client
  • Liaised with and advised locally based company lawyer with respect to contractual issues on disputes arising from the sub-contractor re-measures.


• Harris Consulting provides on a monthly basis (since 2001) post contract quantity surveying and project management services for a national telecommunications company managing site upgrade works and new installations required by UK telecom providers.

• Appointed by a global telecommunications contractor to manage and provide contractual advice and appraisal of claims arising on a major new network in the UK (overall value exceeds £300 million). Harris Consulting managed and advised on three separate multi-million pound disputes each of which was successfully settled without recourse to formal dispute procedures.
